Dino Radja:

"When people compare LeBron to Jordan, I feel like throwing up. My son assures me LeBron is better, but for me, it’s not a discussion. If he’d played 20 years ago, James wouldn’t have been able to do half of what he’s doing today. When LeBron gets into the paint, everybody moves. Jordan would get the beating but would still dominate."

"I respect LeBron, but Kobe’s better."

If Jordan and his sub-30% 3 point shooting played today, he would be a slightly better DeMar DeRozan.

HUGE respect for Jordan from me, but Jimmy Butler is better.

So Lebron has cratered NBA ratings because of his team-hopping (talent-based winning) - talent-based winning is inferior basketball to the great chemistry/strategy/teamwork that teams developed in prior eras by staying together

And it's a skill deficit - lebron's skillset turns teammates into play-finishers, thus requiring ready-made stars to win

But ultimately, talent-based winning is what lost the 04' and 06' World Games - a garbage brand of basketball

He is correct. Lebron should be compared to Dirk they both only won 1 title for the franchise that drafted them.

Who the **** is Dino Radja lol

he played less than four seasons in the nba, all with the celtics before they waived him at age 29.

don't know what else he did after that...

but he somehow got into the hall of fame a couple years ago.

Dino is still a better player than anyone on this forum will ever be. Hate when people dismiss him as someone with no authority on basketball discussions because he didn't have a great NBA career. Guess what... you never even got within a light year of the NBA!

I must admit, saying "He's better than you will ever be" to a internet poster who says a player sucks is one of the best counter-arguments ever when it comes to discussing sports. It has a mic-drop quality to it, and is a completely relevant point that should be brought up whenever a poster writes that some player sucks. It's worth pointing out that certain players are better than certain posters because we all know that the worst player in the NBA wouldn't destroy a random internet poster in a game.

I would take Dino Radja's opinion in pretty high regard compared to posters on this board or even ESPN analysts. Dude played the highest level of basketball for many years and so has more authority on the subject IMO. Anyways a lot of people puke in their mouths a little bit when people mention Lebron alongside Jordan. It's just how it is.
