General manager Elton Brand is expected to remain in his current position, and new coach Doc Rivers is a proponent of the hiring, sources said. Rivers and Morey have a long history and strong relationship.

LMAO it's being reported that Brand pushed for Morey's hiring because he wants to win. I don't love the Doc hire but i really like the staff he's assembled so I'm happy. No one could possibly be worse than Brett Brown. It's bewildering that you hire a guy who was hired to lose and then keep him around once you actually had a good team. I love BB personally and he's prob a great member of a coaching staff but in a much smaller role. Horrible head coach.
