I love how we all just kind of accepted Kevin Love in his prime as the #1 option, out East

1. couldn't make the all-star team
2. couldn't make the playoffs
3. couldn't make all-nba

Even weathered Pau Gasol after his Lakers bid had his best year with the Bulls and got them to the post season

Kevin Love just isn't that good. He had two all nba seasons in Minnesota putting up good looking numbers on a trash team. But he really has no role on a championship level team because of his defensive limitations. He provides some good shooting. Some passing. Can't get his own shot. He's a fringe all star talent in the modern nba - basically a poor man's Danilo Gallinari.
