Do you think they can even make it two years? Look at the meltdown this year. 1 more may do the trick.

AD winning FMVP would make them meltdown even more. The story would still be MJ vs. LeBron and GOAT but these guys would be running up and down screaming about FMVP only to get ignored by the rest of the world.

Lebron will be cemented #2 all time and theres nothing he can do to surpass MJ after losing the Finals series in 2007 already, so I suspect nothing much will happen.

On the contrary, Russell never lost in the 1st round and MJ did this three times. After MJ lost in the 1st round in 1985 theres nothing he can do to surpass Russell after losing the 1st round series in 1985, so I suspect his ceiling was always #2.
