That Houston roster is wrecked. And Clippers locker room is fricked up. It's a real dilemma for him.

Pelicans is a much better job than either of those IMO.

It is going to be really interesting this off-season with the hiring of new coaches and seeing how they fit in. I think it's going to be really challenging for Doc with the 76ers and for Nash with the Nets. Let's see who takes over the Clippers and the Rockets, but the ones that take those jobs will also have real tasks in their hands. As for Lue, I agree with what some of you have said, I would secure a more long-term project like the Pelicans or other rebuilding franchises.

He's not even a good coach.

He would actually be fine with the Rockets 'cause his tactics was basically, give the ball to the playmaker. It worked well with Lebron, and should work well with Harden as well. However, hes not going to do better than Mike D'Antoni. Black coaches you know, dont have high ceilings, they wont be able to elevate their star players.

Adam Silver and the refs actually worked well with Lebron.

Lue is a crap head coach, but a solid assistant. Any team giving him the reigns isn't making good decisions though.

The fact that he's in demand should tell you something. There's not really much out there, and people want to believe that the championship he won had more to do than just Lebron.

Can't argue with facts, Lebron makes ordinary coaches like they will be HOF material.

If anything, he's overrated.

There's a reason why he had to be fired after the first six games of the 2018-19 season.

Lue is bad at making in game adjustments and game to game adjustments. His only offensive idea is play fast, and he oversaw a steady defensive regression while coaching the Cavs. His rotations are lousy.

He does make quality after time out plays and he is well liked by players. But those two strengths are dwarfed by thebl above weaknesses. He's not head coach material. He's assistant coach material.

Lue does have some D'Antoni mentality in "outscoring opponent" then playing defense.

There is a reason why Ty Lue is still available. Having said this....Rockets, another early exit from the playoffs.

He doesnt. In 2017 finals, he said sthg in lines of "We need to outscore Warriors, score more points that should be our defense".
