Dude is so terrible in the conference finals. Wish Frank Vogel just give some playing time to Waiters or Green.

Now you know how Kawhi felt last year's playoffs. Can you say "carry job".

39.2 TS%. Frankie needs to give him less playing time in Game 4.

Raptors got lucky they called on Fred Van Vleet to take Green's playing time. You have Alex Cuckusu who is basically Green 2.0. Lack a scorer off the bench.

He has to play for spacing. Not sure why people don’t get this.

Danny Green is a "3+D guy" who can't hit open 3s or play defense :facepalm

There is a reason Spurs fans called him Danny Bricks...

That said, he usually wakes up at some point, if his team is around long enough to see it and don't get bounced because he's playing like shit.

Despite all this, you have to be braindead to think Waiters or Smith playing instead would be beneficial to the team.

Thats why its funny watching outsiders bang on about Green like he hasn't been a brick thrower for years now.

Really shows who knows their shit, and who buys dumb hype - which is most nba fans

Yeah, he's been pretty terrible. But the Lakers knew what they were getting when they signed him: A guy who can be atrocious one night and shoot the lights out the next. There hasn't been much of the latter these playoffs, but I am confident that there are 1 or 2 games left these playoffs where his shooting will be a factor in getting the Lakers a W. His vast finals experience makes him worth having.

This series, the guy is taking 8.5 shots a game and scoring 6.5 points a game. 5.3 attempts and 1.5 makes a game from deep.

If I was Vogel, I would rather have Dwight take 3's at this point. :oldlol:

Over the span of his career, his 3-point seasons have roller-coasted from being mediocre to great.
This season he is shooting .367 from the 3-point line.
Last season he shot a very impressive .455
The season before that .363

Between 2011-12 and 2014-15 he had four straight seasons where he shot at least .415.
I suppose the Lakers are just unlucky to have gotten him in one of his brickier seasons.

If lakers can parley green and Kuzma into Olidipo in offseason consider that a big win. Kuzma will be nothing more then a inconsistent role player and green is washed.

Who cares about regular season, what are the playoff numbers?

Like everyone says.. danny green in conference finals or finals can win you 1-2 games.

He plays smart defense. He hustles even though it looks like hes jogging. He doesnt lose confidence. Teams still respect him on that 3 ball.

Weird but I like Danny green on any championship team. He comes through when you need him..especially in tight series defining games.

You remember when he was in FMVP conversation and literally shot the Spurs out of the series in G6 and G7?

If the Lakers make the finals, it won't surprise if DG starts hitting 3-4 threes a game on like 60% shooting.

Jekyll and Hyde but Danny Green is going to prove his value in 1-2 games especially if Lakers get past nuggets.

Even if this were the case, he‘s ass and that deserves talking.

But no amount of spacing is good enough for 29% shooting

Problem was Lakers had no other choice but to sign danny. Lakers waited on Kawhi for so long that all of the other free agents got signed. I think that was kawhi's plan to not allow Lakers to stack up while he had Clippers trying to work on paul George trade. This time Lakers will be waiting on nobody. If they win a chip especially, free agents will be lining up to sign with Lakers and Lakers will sign the best player off the bat. Veterans will also be lining up for veterans minimum

Hope so but he could get benched before that happens. He has been ass the entire playoffs and pretty much the entire season as well except for the 3 first months

If he's going to hit his open 3s even close to how he was hitting them the previous two finals he played against the Heat, then the Heat are in trouble.
