I'd love to see Harden teaming up with Giannis. Win 75 games in the regular season and lose in the Conference Finals to the Celtics or Nuggets.

Would be a one hell of a duo.

The Playoff Boys.

30/6/7 with 2 steals over the last 3 playoff runs. Losses to the stacked Warriors and the 1-seed Lakers with AD/Lebron playing as good as they can.

Harden is who is he...a great scorer and offensive juggernaut but not a strong leader. One of the best players ever regardless.

Happy Harden showed up in an elimination game for once. Imo the Rockets small ball didnt really fail. They would have been more competitive had they not trade CP3 for Russ

Nah, small-ball is ass. You need an athletic and versatile big.

Can Westbrook play center?

The strange thing is, Rockets fans aside, 90% of this board and 98% of posters over 35 knew small-ball has no chance of working. We also knew it would look better in the regular season but it can't possibly work in the playoffs. Which begs the question... why did the Rockets do it? Management should be more than fandom.

They should go after a good 3pt shooting big and theyll be fine. Russ was the problem. With him on the floor, the Lakers could double Harden over and over again without any consequences because he just cant shoot from anywhere on the floor

Russ needs to hire a shooting coach asap, else his career is doomed to be a complete failure

Can Westbrook play center?

I say why not? It is worth a try. He goes back to junior high and he may just be decent at center. He is athletic.
Err... you mean the NBA? Against Embiid? Well, yeah. Russ is determined. That should count.

On another note, I'm 6'1 and 200 pounds. Planning on winning the strongman competition and becoming a hit in sumo. I just need to get a bit stronger and heavier.

Russ is too turnover prone. He want even a decent player in this series. He was just terrible

1. Showed up? He was 2-8 from 3 and 12-20 overall. That's pathetic.

2. Even if he had shown up, I call BS. There was no pressure to this elimination game whatsoever. The series was over before the game started.

Because everything about the team is arrogant and retarded

Its why they give themselves false hope every reg season and fail miserably when it matters.

Here's an unpopular take

Rockets never had a chance. Lakers are too good and they make great adjustments after a feel out game. Their role players shine while other teams role players are out searching for p*ssy in any way possible. Is that a leadership thing? I don't know, since we've had Lebron's role players in the past stink it up. All I know is the Rockets looked like a COMPLETELY different team after the House situation. Lakers led wire to wire since.

But anyways, Silver is happy now that China can broadcast playoff games again.

Eh, 30 points in a blowout where he also recorded 6 turnovers and 5 fouls. In 7:30 of stat-padding minutes in the 4th quarter, he recorded 3 points on 1-4 shooting. Harden was and is overrated. His consistent playoff exits and lump sum of playoff performances where he's shot the ball poorly is also a playoff record.
