Just watched an interview of Jason Kidd. Jordan called Kobe a little Laker boy because back then Kobe hasn't earn his respect yet. By the time Jordan had his final retirement he called him Kobe in the 2002 and 2003 nba all star game.

Should've called him daddy after that last game.

Reminds me of Indiana Jones' dad always calling him "junior". Then at the end of The Last Crusade, he finally called him "Indiana" :lol
