It's a loaded question.

What do I think made Isiah resent MJ in general? Just his greatness and popularity. Isiah was a big star when he came up but MJ took stardom to levels way past Isiah right off the bat as a rookie. As a competitor too, Isiah didn't like that.

What makes him most bitter now? IMHO, not even CLOSE, being left off the Dream Team. He deserved that experience too as that team was not based purely on merit but more of a team of honorary players or Bird and maybe even Magic didn't deserve to be on that team.
