Was bored missing hoops so chucked on YouTube and came across this https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=AKU2u1Aj96w pretty sick dunk but id imagine they'd call a flagrant in todays game. Refs didnt call anything. How do you not call that foul?

Different era. Today´s game is the softest ever. The nba has also banned any attempt of defense.

Yes flagrant 1.

However Jordan would also get a technical for taunting.

No because Jordan didn't flop to the ground like a little b*tch. That as a foul but not a flagrant. They might have ejected Jordan for hurt feelings though.

In this era you actually need skills to defend someone. A guy like Laimbeer wouldn't make the NBA right now.

A guy who could probably get 15 rebounds a game....and has games like this?

I think the league finds a place for him.

I agree that its harder to play defence now but theres guys similar thats made impacts on teams. Even championship ones. I think a 6'10 player who's smart and plays hard coukd still find a place in the league now.

Pretty infamous play in Chicago. They didn't even call a foul on it. This is a flagrant 1 with today's play, but if he misses the dunk watch them take it to a flagrant 2. Today's league is full of b*tches who pull b*tch moves.

The Knicks had to take Pippen's legs out from under him to pick up a flagrant 2 in the 92 Semis.

It is clearly a blow delivered as usual by Bill the dirty tactician. It's rather clear that it's not an issue of mistiming, and Bill isn't going for the ball; he goes for the elbow; he's aiming at messing up Jordan's shooting elbow.

Yeah i dont think he was actually trying to make a play on the ball but hes pretty slick because it does look like he may have been.

This wasn't flagrant, so why would that be?

This wasn't even a foul even though Ibaka broke LeBron's nose, so again, probably not a flagrant.

That first one was definitely a flagrant. The second one though wasnt much. Depending on the angle i could see how it could maybe be missed. Ibaka barely hits him and bron falls down hard and bleeds profusely like he just finished a 12 round fight with mike tyson. You can even here reggie say its hard to see where he got hit. Here's another angle of how soft a hit it was. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=f5ISBDWvAIY

Damn.... Bill had a hair trigger.

That release is curry-esque.

Thank you.

That was all from one finals game. Bill held the single game finals record for a long while. It didn’t fall till people built it into the game plan and guys like Kenny Smith started gunning off big men getting doubled.

They never ran a play to get Bill a 3 he just now and then stumbled over a chance. These days? They would tell him to stand out there and shoot all day. He would work on it. The transition would be pretty easy for him.
