Saw interesting stats in the Lakers/Bucks post game:
Drives per 100 possessions
Morant 2nd
Doncic 5th
Drive points per 100 possessions
Morant 2nd
Doncic 4th
Being able to beat guys off the dribble and get to the rim has always been a key skill in this game. I have watched Doncic more than Morant this season but what i have seen from Morant has been impressive. It seems like he can beat guys off the dribble whenever he wants but isn't as aggressive looking for his shot as Doncic.
Doncic has great skills off the dribble but i would like to see him cut down his shot attempts a little, especially those step back 3s. He is really good though and i think he is a big reason why Curry and Hardaway are having such good years. Powell was also having a career year before he went down. I think as time goes on he will be looking more for KP who is currently leading the league in catch and shoot attempts.
