Kobe was the definition of mediocre vs the Mavs in the 2011 second round. Wade has always killed teams Kobe has struggled against. See 2010 Celtics the season before and mid 2000s Pistons. The reason why isn't hard to see. Wade always attacked relentessly while Kobe was apt to settle for the jump shot. He was just easier to defend especially for the Celtics. Ray Allen is a decent one on one defensive player when he has to just play the jump shot. Wade, on the other hand, would just drive by him at will.
