View Full Version : Kawhi Leonard AND Paul George both refused to be betas to LBJ and should be commended

Could have both EASILY played 2nd fiddle (or 3rd in Kawhi's case) to LeBron in LA and won asterisk*** rings but instead chose to TAKE ON LEBRON and start their own dynasty.

In the age of LeBron "I need major stars to help me win" and KD "I need to join 73 win teams".. it's refreshing that Kawhi and PG are the ONLY Alphas in this league.

I'd applaud LeBron if he went to the Clippers BY HIMSELF.

He was desperately triple texting Kawhi to join the Lakers    pathetic

2013 ECF was a major carry job by the King

Bron dropped 29-7-5 on 51% on Paul George's head while his #2 option Wade scored 15 per game :lol

The Pacers 4th option was putting up 13 ppg

Not really, Kawhi owns Lebron's soul.

Reigning FMVP joins reigning top 3 MVP finalist on a team that was already likely to win ~50 games and make the 2nd round.

Alpha.

It's worse than the Heat big 3. Not as bad as KD to GSW tho.

When?

2014 NBA finals where Lebron averaged 28/7/4 on 57% shooting..?

Why do people post rebounds and assists as if it's the primary defebder's job to stop him from getting a defensive rebound and to guard him and his teammate simultaneously.

And when Kawhi guarded Lebron he clamped him up. Bad. No one cares about how much he scored on on Danny Green

Apparently that's a down year for LeBron when in 2014 he had the second highest PER of all time through the Finals (31.1) :lol

Barely won a game in the series, one of the biggest blow out Finals margin of all time, utterly forgettable performances where he'd disappear for large stretches of the game while Spurs blew out Miami, got bunches of points in garbage time when Spurs were mainly trying to run out the clock and not foul.

Yet you want to chirp about LeBron's PER. This is your hero and "GOAT", and this is why he's had so many forgettable moments. It's not like this type of performance is an aberration for LeBron. He gives up/checks out throughout his career. In the light of that, your silly recitation of PER is just laughable.

LOL except Kawahi would have joined LA if PG wasn't down for colluding with him
