The Hornets have converted the contract of guard Kobi Simmons to a two-way contract.

Simmons played college basketball at the University of Arizona, went undrafted, and played one game for the Cavs last season, while spending most of the year in the G League. He averaged 17.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.6 assists for the Canton Charge for the season.

In 2017-28, Simmons played for the Grizzlies, averaging 6.1 points per game.

Question: How would Kobe's career have been if he played in Charlotte instead of getting traded to LA?

If he had a 17-7 2nd option ala anyone as replaceable as Pau he would've 2peated minimum.
