This has nothing to do with the NBA
Winning 3 straight Gold medals
or
Making it to the Gold Medal Final game 9 straight times and walking away with 3 Golds 6 Silvers
What would you brag about more? dominating for 36 years or a hot 12 year stretch in a weak era of the Olympics?

Obviously 3 gold and 6 silvers makes the better career with no further information. With more context though if the one with just the 3 golds was setting records and blowing the comp out the water Phelps/ Bolt style there can be a discussion depending on if u value peak or longevity.

I think winning 3 straight gold medals, retiring, then coming back and winning 3 straight gold medals again is the most impressive.

Durant has plenty of time to make a 3/9 finals record look like a joke. 2016 was negated by 2011 anyways....

So i better never see anyone rank durant over Lebron if they come back and win...duh. Durant's rings and fmvp's after joining the warriors are the least impressive rings for a superstar of all time... by far.
Just wondering though,
This has nothing to do with the NBAI thought this thread had nothing to do with the NBA? Why are we talking about Lebron and Durant?

i think whats impressive is that when/if Toronto wins & Kawhi named FMVP, he'll be the only player to have 2 FMVPs in both conferences

Competing in an alternate Olympic league. Dominating that league with 2 golds.
Then you come to the regular Olympics and win another gold.
Some of you will understand this Greatness!
