I took each year they had a deep playoff run (14 games or more) and added up the Game Score of every playoff game for that year and divided by the number of games played; thus, the game score average, per game, for that playoff run

Best playoff runs, ranked:
1. 2009 LeBron = 418 / 14 games = 29.857
2. 2018 LeBron = 621.7 / 22 games = 28.259
3. 2017 LeBron = 506.8 / 18 games = 28.155
4. 1991 Jordan = 466.3 / 17 games = 27.429
5. 1993 Jordan = 497.3 / 19 games = 26.173
6. 1992 Jordan = 551.7 / 22 games = 25.077
7. 2000 Shaq = 576 / 23 games = 25.043
8. 2012 LeBron = 555.1 / 23 games = 24.134
9. 2001 Shaq = 385.4 / 16 games = 24.087
10. 1987 Magic = 429 / 18 games = 23.833
11. 2017 Durant = 354.9/ 15 games = 23.660
12. 2003 Duncan = 562.9 / 24 games = 23.454
13. 2016 LeBron = 491.0 / 21 games = 23.380
14. 2018 Durant = 471.0 / 21 games = 22.428
15. 2009 Kobe = 514.4 / 23 games = 22.365

Notables below top 15
2006 Wade = 508.6 / 23 games = 22.113
2013 LeBron = 508.3 / 23 games = 22.100
2002 Shaq = 417.3 / 19 games = 21.963
1996 Jordan = 394.8 / 18 games = 21.933
2012 Durant = 436.5 / 20 games = 21.825
2015 LeBron = 436.4 / 20 games = 21.820
1984 Magic = 442.1 / 21 games = 21.052

*Still playing but should be noted

GmSc doesn't take pace into account, so you would have to adjust for pace (adjusted GmSc).

In 1999, the average playoff pace was 85.7.

In 2019, the average playoff pace was 97.6.

#1, #2, and #3 all ended in loses. #1 didn't even make the finals.

Anyone? Or are Jordan stans finally numb to being well below LeBron in everything these days?

Anyone?

Every series is played at a different pace, so if you're trying to compare across years, you have to adjust for pace.

Even within a single year, you would still need to adjust for pace.

Bucks vs Celtics 2019
Pace 102.9

Bucks vs Raptors 2019
Pace 96.2

Looking at the raw numbers is okay for casual conversation, but if you're really trying to be accurate, you need to crunch some numbers.

Does ppg consider pace?
Rpg?
Apg?
Spg?
Bpg?
