Better defender: Marcus Smart or Jrue Holiday

Saw some Twitter wars going back and forth about who's a better player, but the real debate was who's a better defender.

What do you guys think?

I haven't seen too much of Jrue, but heard lots of good things about him. Smart's defensive intangibles are enough to have a debate.

Overall: Jrue

Jrue has always been a solid player to me. Nothing more, nothing less. He had an incredible series vs Portland last year but that was an anomoly. His defense is good, incredibly solid and reliable. Smart's defense is game changing. But obviously Jrue is the MUCH better offensive player.

Can't claim to have seen enough of Jrue outside of last season's playoffs to be able to make a decent comparison.

I have always maintained, though, that this iterarion of the celtics, with kyrie and horford, would not win a title without Marcus Smart. Smart is Ainge's Tony Allen evolution and I don't think he will let him go easily.
