Jordan needed a couple of overtimes as well to get that.

Durant isn't a statpadder though or he would've surpassed it long ago.

He'll probably settle around 50 and call it a game. Fooking monster this guy..

Durant is sick no dought but didn't mj do this in the finals? Doing this against a bumb first round team with a bench player as there leader isnt really the same as doing this against a finals team. Still impressive though

I highly dought 3ball or any mj fan is worried. Chances of kd putting up 26 in second half is slim.

It will be a close enough game. Durant could do it.

This could be Durant's best game ever.

literally the exact opposite of curry

KD gets his stats when the team needs them, is passive when the game is out of hand

Curry does nothing when the game is in balance, excessively stat pads and dances when its out of hand

Imagine if Durant was doing it against the 86 Celtics (one of the GOAT teams all time) instead of a Clippers 8th seed with no star.

So It didn’t get beaten . Mmm so In this age of no defence

KD could have scored more if he really wanted to, it was pretty much over late in the 3rd so he cooled off and let Curry pad his numbers, but I'm more impressed with MJ's because while the 80s wasn't great defensive era the 86 Celtics were a great defensive team regardless of era. It was necessary as well but the fact that it happened in double overtime kinda takes some away from it. Better that than a blowout, I can respect KD for not statpadding

His 50 points were needed, but I'm saying if KD decided to go off in the last quarter and get 63+ he probably would have but it's just not the same as getting it in the right circumstances (and MJ's 63 came in such a circumstance) and I can respect that

Oh yeah no doubt..

3ball is someone who doesn't watch basketball yet spends hundreds of hours every year defending MJ and insulting any player who is in competition with MJ in any aspect. Not only is he an insecure idiot, but he is probably the most pathetic person on here after Simon considering the lengths he goes to defend someone that would never care that he exists.

Yeah, KD generally doesn't force it too much which I like a lot.

Look who he's playing against:

The 8 seed Clippers, aka 21st ranked defense

The Warriors wanted a 20+ blowout and they needed about 50 from durant to do that

Now if Durant was playing a #1 all-time seed, 5 HOF team, aka #1 defense in the league, then certainly he'd need at least 63 and the clutchest non-Finals free throws ever to even be in the game.. Not to mention the twisty-turny midrange, as needed to take on a #1 defense keying on a 1-man show (no layups, no threes)
