In what universe is this even true? KD led the team in ppg, rpg, apg, bpg and shot 9% higher TS for the series.

You think Curry outplayed Durant in Game 2 because he had 7 more points? 26/9/7 2 blks 3 TO 82.5%TS vs. 33/7/8 5 TO 59.6%TS.

At best it's 2 - 2 with KD outplaying Curry heavily in Game 3.

From 2017 up to now, KD is averaging 29/8/5 on 64.4%TS to Curry's 27/6/6 on 63.5%TS in the Playoffs. It's close but Durant has the edge with his superior defensive play and clutch scoring.

I don't think on/off is perfect although it's useful for determining, at the least, who is not ****ing their team's chances the most, but Curry has only led his team in that stat for 1 title. In regular season only twice since 2014, with 3 different guys (Iggy, Green, KD) leading in that span...

KD was a +35 on/off heading into this game, Curry like 10+ so it's unlikely he'll be leading his team in on/off this postseason

You are technically not wrong with anything you said but here's where context is needed. The only team that was remotely a threat was the Howard/Harden Rockets and that team had an easy road to the WCF as well. If the Thunder had KD they would have most likely been the matchup in the WCF as was typically the case when the Thunder were healthy in the KD era.

But then with LeBron/Kyrie/Love it was literally just LeBron. They almost let a team whose only star player was LeBron beat them and had Iggy not replaced Bogut then they most likely would have lost to the Cavs. Iggy and LeBron were voted Finals MVP over Curry and rightfully so

Westbrook > Green, of course, but Thompson > anyone else on the Thunder and as talented as Westbrook can be he's also prone to making costly decisions that Green and Thompson rarely are prone to do. Curry + Klay + Green is an ideal trio, you couldn't ask for a better group of guys to pair Curry up (guys that don't need the ball much and can defend) except for maybe Iggy... wait, they also had Iggy; whereas Westbrook wasn't the best pairing with KD

As it stands Warriors/Thunder (and Cavs/Warriors) were close enough to where it was essentially a toss-up, but they were lucky to advance to the finals and had the Warriors won in the Finals it would have been Green that would have won finals MVP...
