and the 96' Sonics, whose big 3 ended the goat Hakeem peak that everyone worships..

So only MJ defeated a b2b-killer juggernaut, making his team a super-juggernaut... #goatcomp..

Ultimately, the 90's West was stacked with 3-4 juggernauts that took turns having their banner year and losing to MJ in the Finals

Btw, those Sonics had been extremely talented for years and had been crushing hakeem since the 80's

The Mavs didn't beat b2b champs and the 03' spurs were part of a dynasty, so they qualify

But it's one thing to be the juggernaut that beats the b2b champs (14' spurs, 96' sonics, 03' spurs), but it's a whole 'nother level to be the team that then beats the juggernaut (96' bulls)

Get it? Only the 96' bulls beat a b2b killer/juggernaut, further proving that they're goat

And yes, they're juggernauts and lebron failed to beat that level of comp in 11' and 14', whereas MJ did in 96'

Thanks for correcting.. Ultimately, only the 96' bulls beat a b2b killer/juggernaut, further proving that they're goat

Yes, we've established that I had a lapse in memory

The 11' Mavs were indeed juggernauts and lebron failed to beat that level of comp in both 11' and 14', whereas MJ did in 96'

Thanks for correcting.. Ultimately, only the 96' bulls beat a b2b killer/juggernaut (and were therefore a SUPER juggernaut), further proving that they're goat

The Seattle Soupercans made it out of the 2nd round ONE time during the great Kemp + 6'2 Payton dynasty run

The greatest team MJ ever faced, got out of the 2nd round one time. So basically MJ didn't even beat a Paul George Pacers type, at least the PG Pacers made it to the ECF a couple time, SHEESH man.

MJ is the most hyped player of all time :facepalm

To add on, this basically means

Super Sonics = Toronto Raptors
6'1 Payton = 6'1 Lowry

Wow. Would the internet EXPLODE if Lowry held LeBron to 26 on 41%?

Sonics weren't the best team MJ faced

They were the hakeem killers but the jazz were the Duncan/Shaq/Popovich killers and the bad boys were the Magic/Bird killers

So a lot of better than lebron's harden-killers.. :oldlol:

Given equal casts, MJ was the most undefeatable

lebron/kareem/bird lost 6 times each with 1 or 2 seeds, while MJ is the only guy to never lose (6-0)... aka the most unbeatable player, aka goat

And only MJ had goat level stats and rings, so MJ is goat

No one considers Russell's era where half the best players didn't play in the league

Only MJ is 30/5/5 for his career (goat raw stats)

Only MJ is top 2 in vorp, bpm, PER, ws/48 (goat advanced stats)

Only MJ has a 40% championship frequency since the ABA merger (goat winning)

Only MJ has 4 fmvp's or more (he has 6), with 6 rings (goat accolades)

Only MJ won MVP and dpoy in same season (goat peak)

Only MJ has 9 straight seasons of both 1st team all-nba and 1st team defense (goat dominance)

Only MJ was never outscored by anyone on either team in a playoff series (never carried)

Only MJ won multiple rings with just 1 all-star (least help), except kobe (Pau), Shaq (Kobe), and hakeem (when MJ was out of league)

But Hakeem's ring was without the scoring title or all-star mvp

mj swept ALL the mvp's in 96' along with scoring title and 1st team all-defense (goat individual accomplishment), while also getting 70 wins and the championship (goat team accomplishment)

Btw, if the Warriors weren't in the league this year, the ring would be completely up for grabs - anyone could win it.. those are the circumstances that Hakeem won his rings (i.e. they don't count).. when MJ came back for the full season, it was another 3-peat.. no different than if the Warriors came back
