only 2 years tho? :facepalm should be a permanent ban.

A fan in Boston banned two years for muttering n***** at DeMarcus Cousins during Golden State’s only visit to TD Garden. More details in video link provided. https://sports.yahoo.com/haynes-sources-boston-fan-banned-010858605.html …

So basically fake news.

"In the course of this investigation, we were able to conclude that the fan had been verbally abusive toward the Golden State bench, but none of the interviewed parties were able to verify the use of racially offensive language, and video evidence proved inconclusive

Whatever though. This is standard for America basically for the next forever. Daily controversies about frivolous racial/gender/religious identifty stuff and hurt feelings.

RIP huumanity.

Teams should create an app where fans could report bad behavior from other fans. I bet that would get rid of a lot of this nonsense.

Is Steve Kerr's son banned from arena's?

My only problem with this is it can't even be proven. It's all heresay. This guy could have just been heckling Cousins like crazy and so he thought to himself, I'll get him, I'll tell the security he called me a ******. There is no proof this happened. It's just Cousins word.

Exactly. Of course all the black fools here are like Yeah, they got him. There is no proof at all he actually called Cousins a ******, though. This is bullshit.

Patriots - Tyreek Hill

Red Sox - Adam Jones

I'd give the benefit of the doubt to Boogie. White boys here tend to get real tough with a little bud light in them.

They came out and said the fan was a kid (a minor, at least), so I can somewhat understand only a 2 year ban. As long as that kid's parents took him home and gave him an ass-whooping.

Parents probably don't even know their little boy who's got a scholarship to Northeastern is a racist fanboy when going to games.

I know Boston gets a bad wrap for being racist, but it more just doing shitty things than being racist. Going to games at the Garden I see fans just do some shitty stuff in general. There was the story of some fan pouring beer onto LeBron when going back to the locker room. Idc if you legitimately hate the dude, you just don't do that shit.

Every city has racism. I've read interviews that players say Milwaukee may be the worst when it comes to racism.

Yeah, Milwaukee seems to be a main culprit, see the Sterling Brown story, or when John Henson parked and tried walking into a jewelry store (in broad daylight, they were open) and the workers inside saw him coming, locked the door and called the cops.
