View Full Version : Why was Lebron shredding the West before his catastrophic injury?

Akrazotile
03-18-2019, 05:32 PM
Lakeshow was on pace to win 48 games. Besides Bron the entire team (and coach) was inexperienced/unaccomplished.

But with a healthy Lebron they were dominating the conference (which was at its most difficult strength in over a decade).

Why did other West teams need Lebron to suffer a major injury to get a reprieve from his dominance?

The Lakers record was 19-14 on 12/25.
So were two other teams - they were tied for 6th.
Can't give him the 12/25 game as GS cut the lead to 2 AFTER he hurt his vajay-jay.

2 spots out of the 10th spot as well.

What's the Lakers record so far when Lebron has played?:lol

He would still have 3 chips except he'd be 3 for 3 instead of 3 for 9. It would take away the main argument that lebron haters use. He'd be undefeated in the finals and they couldn't bring up the 6 finals losses as to why he's not up there with the games greats.

The LeBron couldn't make it in west narrative makes no sense based on his haters own logic.

You're still here pushing the same narratives which even you don't believe.

Some of you act as if he doesn't have to play the champs from the West in the final.

You literally post the same threads constantly. Not sure how you aren't tired of it. What is your motive out of all of it? To get people to say Lebron sucks? I'll gladly admit he does if you go out and get help for your obsession. Deal?

I 100% believe that he's on PED's(and has been for at least the majority of his career), played on Super Teams for almost his entire prime, and played unbelievably weak competition(you going to argue the East was stacked)?

Let's consider Denver had the first pick and he never left his team for a super team. 2 finals and win one of them maybe?

not really because hed have to beat multiple contenders to win in the west, not just one like he had in the east.

instead of facing the raptors and hawks, hed face 2016 OKC or 2018 rockets, for example... in addition to the warriors. So his chances would be cut down even more.

one: He doesn't look like he's on juice. I know you think he is but there's no proof or reason to suspect he is.

Two: most champs had superteams. Mj, magic, Kareem, Steph, bird, kd, Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan. Yeah there's a few that didn't like Hakeem, Wade and dirk but most did.

Three: yeah the last few years the east was bad but he always faced extremely tough competition in the west.

The thing is, even if he is, he hasn't been caught. So just for Bron, and possibly other players you dislike, you approve of the guilty before innocent method of thinking. Sound logic.

Miami was a great but flawed team, and while in Miami, he went against other great teams. I'm a Heat fan, and surely watched more games than you. I think I'd know how good the team was.

He played unbelievably weak competition? His opponents in the finals for the majority of his 8 title runs lately were all 60 win teams. One was a 73 win team he beat. Compare that to your idol Kobe's titles. Pacers, Nets and Sixers in his first run around. Boston and Orlando the other time around.

Hell, even the Mavs, who funnily enough beat the Heat while being Bron's weakest opponents are better than all but one of those teams, the Celtics. Not the one Kobe beat, but the one he lost to. The Celtics Kobe beat won 49 games that season and were incredibly flawed.

For all this talk about him being on super teams, why did the Heat miss the playoffs right after he left? How about Cleveland?

Both times he left Cleveland, what happened?
How many rings would Kobe have in place of LeBron in the last 4 finals? How many times does he beat GSW?

I'd love to know your answers on those two questions.

Bronbron23

Well 2018 wouldn't have mattered because he didn't win that year anyway. I don't see that 2016 okc team beating that Cleveland team. LeBron was better than kd at the time. Kyrie was a better playoff performer than Westbrook band love was better than Serge.

We saw Embiid play worse than his usual self and lose to the Celtics...and Lebron dominated while his team beat the Celtics last year.

Impossible to say how many titles he wins if any without knowing what team he'd be on, so such predictions are irrelevant. I'm sure we'd have had a few Lebron/Kobe playoff matchups, and the world as we know it would never be the same if that happened.

Bron haters are the ones saying "if" Bron played in the west his whole career he'd be exposed. It's not true though. He'd actually be 3 for 3 instead of 3 for 9. He'd be undefeated in the finals and by your and every other Bron haters logic, be even greater.
