Crazy thing is Curry has yet to HAVE a playoff run as strong as Jason Terry in 2011.

Im not sure Curry can realistically be put ABOVE Jason Terry all time, if we really wanna be real about it :biggums:

The MVP award was given based on the first 3 games when the series was still in the balance

Btw, the sonics had a better cast and their top 5 players all outplayed pippen's woat 15 on 34% performance.. :facepalm

And understand that MJ hit the big shot or had the big game in every Finals:

1991:. hits game-tie'er in game 3 and dominates OT to prevent 2-1 deficit with the next 2 games in LA

1992:. 46 points in critical game 5 to take 3-2 lead

1993:. hits game-sealing shot in game 5 over Barkley, as Barkley wallows in iconic defeat (https://i.makeagif.com/media/7-13-2015/QmCJlv.gif).. the series was over at that point.. this is how I envision MJ beating lebron

1996:. scores a series-high 36 on the road in game 3 to shut the door on Sonics (3-0 lead)

1997:. game 1 game winner and CRITICAL game 5 flu game to take 3-2 lead

1998:. when anyone says "game 6", they're talking about MJ's goat clutch in the 98' Finals

Obviously, lebron can't touch this level of clutch.. infact, he has chokes in every Finals

Lies.. Lebron has zero game-winners in the Finals, despite a zillion conference-dependant appearances..

zero

nada

Furthermore, MJ has far more winners thru 179 games and against better teams (not weak teams like lebron), and obviously has FAR better overall clutch and 4th quarter stats

So keep dreaming kid

its not really a "boom" moment when you consider kobe was injured and limited to 30mpg all season then immediately had a knee procedure done after the playoffs

we all saw how kobe played that year. it was substandard

lebron on the other hand was in his absolute prime

LeBron's percentage is wrong. It should read .409.

But don't worry, I'll keep bumping my thread with the correct averages until everyone is informed.

Article just says he finished a close second, which we already knew. That doesn't mean outplayed. Just means he also played very well and could've won it too

Also, "Gamescore"? Seriously? We just using that now? Okay. So by your logic, Durant outplayed LeBron in the 2017 Finals then, correct?

Also, if we're going by Gamescore, Jordans average Finals Gamescore is higher than LeBron's, so he outplayed him in the Finals, according to you

Jordans average Finals Gamescore = 24.68
LeBrons average Finals Gamescore = 22.43

Sorry for that

The shot over Barkley was in game 4. That was to give the Bulls a 3-1 lead. The Suns were trying to get a stop, down 2 with a chance to tie or win the game if they got that stop. Jordan hit the shot and then the freethrow to make it a 5 point lead and seal the game, and the finals.

So to you, higher GameScore = Better play. So let's extend that logic elsewhere...

In the 2017 Finals, Durant had a higher GameScore than LeBron, which means he outplayed LeBron

For their careers, Jordan has a higher Gamescore than LeBron. Which means he's a better career Finals performer

Whereas Bron beat the nobody-killer spurs and ditto warriors unless you think westbrook is a tough out

And btw, lebron needed an extra all-star/HOF to win than MJ - give MJ an extra all-star, and he sweep any team in history, let alone the bad boys and jazz that he beat with just 1 all-star

Kemp didn’t win, but according to you he outplayed Jordan due to GameScore. LeBron didn’t win, but he also had a LOWER GameScore than Durant in 2017.

So you obviously agree 100% Durant outplayed LeBron. So much for that triple double being so amazing, Durant outplayed him without coming CLOSE to averaging one
