Well the stats were better in an era where stats are the easiest to get but it's not better. Lebron didn't win a chip last year and Kobe won a chip 5 times. The name of the game is to win. So technically Kobe had 5 seasons better than LeBron's last year. Yeah he had Shaq for the first 3 so at worst Kobe had 2 seasons better than lebron last year.

It all depends on what better means to you I guess. To me Really good stats and a chip is better than really really good stats and a sweep. That's just me though
