Here are LeBron's updated numbers after the 2018 playoffs.
In all years, in the playoffs, in the 4th quarter or overtime, 0:24 or less left in quarter, shot to tie or take lead:
LeBron 10/27 (.370)

In all years, in the playoffs, in the 4th quarter or overtime, 0:10 or less left in quarter, shot to tie or take lead:
LeBron 9/22 (.409)

I had to recreate this thread. Is there any reason the old one was deleted?

Was just checking Kobe’s and he’s, ironically, 6/24 with 24 seconds left.

4/18 with 10 seconds left.

Do we have 4th quarter stats in general?
I made a thread a while back and did it for a shit ton of Players. Not sure if it still exists. Want to search for it? IIRC, I named it “4th quarter stats of All-Stars”.
The only seasons of MJ’s available were ‘97 and ‘98. IIRC, he averaged ~10 PPG on ~50% in ‘97 and ~10 PPG on sub 40% in ‘98.

Did I do this right? :confusedshrug:
Yep. Curry’s 10/23 for his career. Can you also do it with 10 seconds remaining?
I’ll do it for all the good players today and the top 50 GOAT’s when I have a couple of hours to kill.

Quick tutorial for anyone that is interested in helping.
Go to: https://www.basketball-reference.com
Search for a player (ex: Steph Curry)
Below the Name, Age, College, etc information, you'll see an orange section called (Steph Curry Overview).
To the right of Steph Curry Overview, hover over MORE.
Find Shot Finder.
In Shot Finder, make sure these fields are selected:
Search for Single Shots matching criteria (e.g., all 4th quarter shots to take lead in final 0:05 in 2010-11)
Playoffs
4th and OT.
Shot to Tie
Shot to Take the Lead
Time Left in Quarter 0:24 or less.
Get results.
Play-by-play data available for the 2000-01 through 2018-19 seasons.

just like his stats lacks substance. the same is true with his gamewinners. Hes zero in game tying or go ahead. His gamewinners are just another manufacturing done by nba. Theres a reason why most of them happened last 2 postseasons. Same time when refs are trying to keep the game close to make him shoot gamewinners. This league is a joke. Its on the same level as WWE nowadays.
