between these 2 players is mind boggling.

They say luka has the higher bball iq + skill + shooting.Yet giannis is still mind-bogglingly better than him.

It's simply amazing how big of a factor, being genetically superior to someone who is inferior to you is.

Giannis is slowly winning me over as a fan

That might be true if he was 23-24

But isn't he 19? He's going to get so much bigger.

That move he did the other night reminds me of Jason williams, except better, and however many inches taller.. Maybe this guy is bird

Not saying giannis isn't much better

Just that the kid is 19 and has similar numbers to 19 year old lebron. With a jumper

What did Giannis average at 19?

Giannis has already tasted the NBA "secret sauce" or known by idiots as "working out in the summer".

When Doncic gets the Gordon Hayward treatment, watch out!

Luka is already more skilled, has a higher bball iq, and has a better jumper than him right now(yall say all these things are true)......He will never be better than giannis. No amount of time will change that.

We have a new PF /5 that will work well with the roster.

He is 19 and he is a NBA rookie. Those are facts.

Guys have been coming over here from Europe for decades. When they come to the NBA they are rookies and they don't magically become several years older.

Maybe you should tell the NBA that he isn't really a rookie so someone else can win rookie of the year.

Why you getting triggered? He'll win his NBA rookie of the year. But he's been playing pro for a while, didn't he win MVP last year? Yeah, what a rookie omg he has no experience, how did he actually make the transition playing against more pros???

You act like he is the first guy to come over here from Europe. The league is filled with guys who played in Europe for years, then came over here. This isn't some new development.

They have always been considered rookies regardless of how old they are or how much European experience they have. How many of those guys averaged over 20 ppg at age 19?

Your post was idiotic.

Compared to 19 y.o Giannis? Hell yes.

And what's with people crying about Doncic already having played against pros before the NBA? Should he get less credit because he's put in more work than other NBA rookies prior to being drafted at the same age?

If Middleton can be a consistent 20ppg scorer, the bucks are going all the way to the finals. They have the superstar and the coach. Now they need that legit second option, someone needs to step the **** up

Giannis played for the pro Greek squad EFAO Zografou B.C. before he got to the NBA.

Does that means his NBA rookie year wasn't really his rookie year? :hammerhead:

Compare Giannis year 1 to Doncic year 1Giannis has a higher ceiling due to much more room to grow. Doncic will no doubt improve, but his ceiling can never be as potentially high as Giannis.

I say this as a Doncic fan.

How many of all these Euros came over to this current league? Doncic just said it's easier to score here, you think it was like that when Giannis or Dirk came here? As a matter of fact, this guy Rodions who plays for the Nets (2nd round pick) is impressive himself. He looks more advanced than Giannis did as a rookie... am I doing it right?
