Embiid is the only choice right now, everyone else is playing bleh...
2nd for me right now is Brogdon, older rookie playing pretty good right out of the gate.

This.
Doesn't seem like it's much of a race yet.
None of the rookies is really standing out, and Embiid is doing well in limited minutes.

Joel Embiid.
excellent two-way skill set
potential to be the next dominant big man

Joel Embiid is averaging 18/7 and 2.5 blocks... in ONLY 22 MINUTES PER GAME!

Kid is insane.

Honestly I think its Bojan Bogdanovic. He has played like a real veteran and has elevated that Brooklyn team to a reasonable record so far with him as the first option on offense

How is it his to lose when he hasn't played a minute?
Let's just give Nerlen Noel DPOY whole we're at it since it's his to lose when he comes back

Still will be Embiid I think... But if Ben Simmon somehow came up with 22 pt 10 reb will probably be him, wont happen tho.

Remember how only a a couple of months ago a large majority of posters on Insidehoops were laughing and ripping on Jojo saying 'he would never play again', 'was the next Oden', 'will be the biggest bust' etc.

How you all feel now?:lol

He has never played 600 min in any HS, College, or NBA season. He has been rested for EVERY B2B game (plus other rest). He has never played 26 min in any NBA game.

Seems to me like the Philly FO is agreeing with them.

The question was never talent. He held more value than Jabari AND Wiggins combined. Until those physicals. It is that he has NEVER been able to stay healthy. And he isn't even playing regular minutes yet. A peculiar time to try to break out the "I TOLD YOU SO".

Happy for him :confusedshrug:

A prediction isn't necessarily a hope.

You realize you're doing the exact same thing but the opposite way? I hope he doesn't get injured but you talking trash after 9 games when his minutes are severely limited is premature.
