Horford hasn't even played the last few games.

Injuries are hurting the team right now. No Horford, no Crowder. Olynkyk just came back. Still, the guys we have on the floor are playing the way we expect them too and it's alarming already through 7 games.

Gotta flip those picks fast, Brooklyn looks not that terrible and they're only gonna get better this summer as they pick up some solid FAs. Atkinson is turning out to be one of those coaches who can elevate shit rosters. Boston has to cash in now for a big to shore up their rebounding/toughness problems inside.

Thing is considering Horford barely played,
This is pretty much the same team from last year. That same great playoff caliber team.

So you gotta ask yourself did the whole league get much better or did Boston lose an edge?

Kinda reminds me of Early Houston last year.
They only added one piece, Ty lawson, which on paper was a great PG to have after being very solid in denver.

The rest of the pieces from that WCF run were the same (they lost josh smith, but he later came back) the Coach was the same, everyone was healthy, and they still messed it up.

So, sometimes things just implode with no appearent reason.
Either way, history tells us that teams rarely recover from bad defense early season to turn into great defense (Which is what they had).

Wondering what this team is capable of.

One thing is for sure, Tyler Zeller sucks at defence.

i said this when yall let sullinger walk...you cant duplicate that chemistry your bigs had...he was vital last year and did the dirty things...hortford is the guy that didnt come to do the dirty things but play the allstar pagent look

Feel the same way about Sullinger. He was the best rebounder on that team by far. You lose him and add a weak rebounding center like Horford, the rebounding will suffer. Not to mention Evan Turner was more valuable to that team than most people give him credit for. He was a good playmaker and rebounder too.

Definitely agree about Evan Turner. That guy can create his own shot and run plays. He was perfect on the second team.
