They did in 3 quarters before that, then he was doubled/shadowed every time on court, he had the ball couple times and only took like 5 shots, you wonder why? Because the offense was so reliant on him Warrios just ramped up.

I guess if the coaching staff and players didn't know that Davis was going to be the focal point of the Warriors defense, and prepared for that and came up with ways to get him the ball in spots where he can make things happen then what are they doing. If you want to win you need to find effective ways to score. He was their most effective way
