2011 DAL Dirk Nowitzki's Teammate rating +0.4
2011 MIA Lebron James' Teammate rating +5.1

Look how good of a supporting cast LeBron had in 2011 while he choked away a win to a team who's second best player was Jason Terry

The graphic doesn't account for the fact that LeBron was a designated 3rd option in that series (a role which he performed at a GOAT level) so he couldn't utilize his supporting cast to the full extent (if any really).

If you retooled this graphic to the strenght of D-Wade's supporting cast (which would include LeBron) the rating would climb up over 10 easily.

And yet Wade still failed to win, proving he was not capable of performing 1st option duties anymore.

2015 GSW Steph Curry's Teammate rating +4.5
2015 CLE Lebron James's Teammate rating -0.1

LeBron's teammate's had a greater advantage(4.7 (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showpost.php?p=12570397&postcount=1)) than Dirk's in 2011 than Curry's(4.6) compared to LeBron's in 2015...And LeBron still lost in 2011!

Dirk was able to overcome

LeBron was not

How nervous are you that when this list is updated, Curry's name will be right at the top without a checkmark next to it?

Lebron was not the first option in 2011 we know this from 2 facts: Lebron was 3rd in usage in the finals, aswell as the coaching staff admitting that lebron was the third option.

In the summer of 2010, the Heat's higher-ups made the mistake of thinking they had acquired the best player at his position, instead of realizing they had acquired the best player in the world. "He was just the small forward and that was it," says one of their coaches. Miami fell in the 2011 Finals to the Mavericks, with James marooned on the wing, clanking midrange jumpers. Regardless of what the box score still indicates, that was his last experience at small forward. "We went from plugging him into a system," the coach says, "to molding a system around him." The Heat wised up and handed LeBron the ball. Location wasn't all that important.

Also while Michael Jordan had a high teammate rating in 1996, his opponent in Payton also had a high teammate rating, for a difference of only +0.3.

The chart should have Wade's name by 2011. Miami was still considered his team/captain until the following season.

Steph Curry had a 75% chance to win in 2016

Lebron James had a 63% chance to win 2011

This concludes Steph Curry choked 12% more than Lebron James did

But we already knew that

Look
If you had
One shot
Or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted
In one moment
Would you capture it
Or just let it slip?

Well, Curry would brick it with Kevin Love guarding him 1 on 1 :lol
and turn it over...
and air ball it...
Damn

TBH how did Lebron 'choke'? He and his team were just flat out outplayed by a better team.

Lebron and the Heat just weren't good enough.

Respect due to the Mavs.

Seriously, how was that NOT a choke?

Because he was playing against a superior team that played great individual and team defense that refused to let him takeover the game in fourth quarters of close games that would result in a championship?

Are you all trying to make out the 'Lebron' let the Mavs win?

The reason the Mavs won was because of the Mavs, not because of Lebron.

Next yall be telling me Lebron was the first man to walk on the moon, or invented the wheel, or ended apartheid in South Africa.

Please......:facepalm

Graphic was made before game 6.

That game, James was 3-5 in the 4th with a 3pt'er made for 7 points.

Not implying that's redemption, but didn't totally disappear in the 4th like the graph implies.

Even including Game 6, averaging 3 ppg in the 4th for a player of LeBron's caliber is absolutely disappearing. Dude scored 18 points the entire series in the 4th, that's nearly as many points as he's scored in a single 4th quarter in some series (i.e. Game 6 2013 Finals)

Wait, is this what you LeBron stans are clinging to excuse wise now?

:oldlol:

He was told to score 8 points in a Finals game, be a relative no show in consecutive 4th quarters, get locked up by Kidd / Marion, as well as have difficulty posting up JJ Barea for scoring opportunities?

Gotcha.

Why was Wade having to treat his ass mid game on national television during the Finals?

He was still out there playing he was just way too passive in games 2-5. Especially games 3-5 IIRC. Horrid series for him obviously. Not like he wanted to lose though. He still gets shit for it anyways.
