They're both universally considered the 2 worst Finals performers in the Top 20, but who would you say was the better Finals performer?
Kobe : 24/4/5 on 41%
Wilt: 18/25 on 47% pace-adjusted to 12/15 in today's era

Probably Kobe but Wilt is still easily ranked higher all time

You'd be hard pressed to find a worse finals performer from the top 15 than Wilt, I'd say.

Had Wilt jumped to the Western Conference, and not stayed in the much stronger Celtic-owned East, his playoff and Finals' numbers would have been off the charts.
Instead, he was routinely putting up 30-34 ppg series against the Celtics in the EDF's...which, BTW, everyone KNEW was the REAL Finals in the decade of the 60's.
BTW, he outshot his opposing HOF centers from the field by a .560 to .440 margin in his six Finals...all while just CRUSHING them on the glass.
Pace-adjusted?
In his LAST playoff run...at age 36, in his 17 playoff games, he averaged 22.5 rpg, in a post-season NBA that averaged 50.6 rpg. Just last post--season, the NBA averaged 42.0 rpg. ADJUST Wilt's rpg down to '16 levels, and he would have averaged 19 rpg!
Incidently Chamberlain won a FMVP in a Finals in which he averaged 19 ppg, and would most certainly have won yet another one, had the ward existed, in '67, with a Finals in which he averaged 18 ppg (in a series in which an opposing player averaged 41 ppg.)
Of course, Lebron lost out to a bench player in the FMVP in a series in which he averaged 36 ppg (on a horrific FG%...he is the "King" of these BTW...look no further than '07.)

At least Kobe lead his team in scoring (http://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/2011-nba-western-conference-semifinals-mavericks-vs-lakers.html) and didn't get outscored by Jason Terry like LeBron did! (http://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/2011-nba-finals-mavericks-vs-heat.html)

If you thought what lebron did was bad, what kobe did was worse..
Kobe stats:
Usage:30%
17/3/1
Lebron stats:
17/6/7

Lebron was the third option in 2011 We know this because not only was he third in usage in the 2011 finals but also spolestra admitted that lebron was the third option in 2011
In the summer of 2010, the Heat's higher-ups made the mistake of thinking they had acquired the best player at his position, instead of realizing they had acquired the best player in the world. "He was just the small forward and that was it," says one of their coaches. Miami fell in the 2011 Finals to the Mavericks, with James marooned on the wing, clanking midrange jumpers. Regardless of what the box score still indicates, that was his last experience at small forward. "We went from plugging him into a system," the coach says, "to molding a system around him." The Heat wised up and handed LeBron the ball. Location wasn't all that important.

Lebron scored more, assisted more, and rebounded more as the third option on a ''stacked'' heat team than kobe did as the league dog with a system molded around him on a lakers team comming off a lakers repeat..
Let that sink in..

Obviously Kobe, there's at best 5 people who are better finals performers than he is and Wilts is definitely not one of them, you can't have a losing record in the finals and be considered GOAT finals performer, that's just pu ssy generation's thinking, and I hope most here are not fricking pu ssies
