The tweet of Cousins has since received more than 700,000 retweets and more than 800,000 likes. The move of Cousin to the Los Angeles Lakers has been a hot topic during this offseason but Divac pointed out in his recent interview that they are not willing to let go of their star player.

Is DeMarcus Cousins Demanding to be Moved to the Los Angeles Lakers?

Cousins reportedly did not demand to be traded to the Los Angeles Lakers but he has criticized Sacramento Kings' latest moves. The Sacramento Kings is quite troubled as compared to other NBA teams due to the various issues such as coaches and ownership.

Aside from the Los Angeles Lakers, Cousins is rumored to be traded to Boston Celtics. However, there are no deals sealed yet as to Cousins moving to another team from Sacramento Kings. Cousins signed a four-year-deal with the Sacramento Kings back in 2014 at $65.16 million. He still as two years left in his contract before becoming a free agent. If and when this happens, many are saying that Cousins could leave Sacramento Kings if he will not be traded this offseason, Sportsrageous reported.

If DeMarcus Cousins is Moving to Los Angeles Lakers, who Will be Traded to Sacramento Kings?

Although Divac debunked the rumors that Cousins is moving to the Los Angeles Lakers, it is possible that Sacramento Kings could work a deal with them as they could offer D'Angelo Russell, Brandon Ingram, Julius Randle, or Jordan Clarkson in exchange for Cousins.

Sacramento Kings General Manager Vlade Divac Praises DeMarcus Cousins.

More on Divac praising Cousins, he said that the player is the most dominant player he knows of. Cousins scored a career-high 26 points per game on top of 11 rebounds during the 2015-2016 NBA season.

As a Laker fan, I'm indifferent on this.

Cousins is worlds ahead of D'angelo Russell, but his attitude problem is a huge issue. Russell has been looking good lately and seems like he's ready to grow up and lead this team. I would be happy with or without the trade.

I do think letting Russell, Clarkson, Randle, and Ingram grow together would be better than pairing Ingram with Cousins and hoping he turns out alright though.

As a fellow purple and blue homey, I totally agree with you. I would not trade Russell or Ingram, maybe JC and Randle I might be, but prefer letting the young team grow, I find that process more enjoyable, like back in the 90s with Eddie Jones and Nick Van Exel

If we can get him on the low, I'd be all for it. However, I don't wanna trade more than 1 of Clarkson or Randle. Ingram and Russell are untouchable, not because they are better players than Cousins (I am NOT implying that). They are however, younger and have the chance to grow into the league playing together, just like Westbrook and Durant.

The potential is there, however I don't wanna trade all our assets for a big cry baby who has NEVER been in the playoffs, but his stats look good (Hello Shareef).

I share the same sentinent. This was a speculation last year but I just don't see Boogie as a game changer. Yeah he's talented individually with big numbers but I don't see the impact . I also remember those Lakers back in the days. How I wish those players were part of the championship team later on. They were the key guys when we were rebuilding.

I would give up Clarkson and Randle only for Cousins. But that's my two cents.
