Everything changed when they signed him
They were slumping at a 55 win pace before getting Andersen, and they went 39-3 to finish the regular season with him... That's a 76 win pace... Includes that legendary 27 win streak
He didn't play that many minutes a night, but those 10-15 minutes he offered, made all the difference in the world. A perfect example of how Depth and a quality bench matters. In the same way I feel losing Bogut in the finals, hurt GSW and particularly their lineups. Miami always had one glaring weakness, and Andersen provided exactly what they needed, for enough minutes... Something that small can make a huge difference for everything else
Absolutely murdered it in the playoffs that season too
6 points 4 rebounds 1 block on 81% FG in 15MPG
I feel like he might be able to offer Cleveland the same.. 10-15 minutes of high energy action
