After losing the championship to them? Would you respect Kobe still, would he still be 12thebe?

It's a similar scenario to KD

How can anyone respect a guy who joins their rival?

Lebrons rival was the Boston Big 3 for years and he never joined them

What if Paul George joined the Heat Big 3 after getting stomped by them year after year in the playoffs?

KD is truly a beta, a servant, and a b1tchmade superstar

And the team won a title without him and played in another. so he's essentially just jumping on their back. Hes a bitch.

What if Kobe joined the Duncan's Spurs?
He didn't coz he's an alpha male.

I'm a Kobe hater by all means but he's defo top 10 all time. he stayed with the Lakers even when had to team up with Kwame and Smush.

It's like prime Karl Malone losing to Jordan and Pippen and then in the offseason teaming up with them... not feeling it

Lot of examples can be used

Shaq joins Bulls in '97.

Duncan joins Lakers in 2000.

LBJ joins Boston in 2010.

All in all, it's the mother of all bitch moves.

Fck KD.

Between him an curry there's lot of opportunity for karma for this bitch move to take place in the form of an injury. would laugh if he ****s up his ***** foot again

It would 10x worse than what Durant did and 50x worse than what LeBron did considering the Celtics/Lakers rivalry. And considering that wouldn't be the first time he tried to force his way out (first time it worked doe).

Or Lebron leaving to join GS last year.

He publicly demanded to be traded after just 2 seasons playing with Smush and Kwame. That was just 3yrs after signing a 7yr deal in 2004.

KD and Curry kind of screwed their own legacies over here. They won't win a ring as valuable as either of Kobe's two w/ Gasol or LeBron's w/ Cleveland.

At the end of the day he stayed, bruh.

The Durant betrayal has enhanced the legacies of Kobe, Dirk and Duncan.

Kobe joining the Celtics would of been exactly what Kevin Durant did in joining the Warriors.

He stayed because of the players involved in the trade. If Deng's not part of it, Kobe goes to Chicago.

Maybe Dirk, but def. not Timmy and Kobe. They both won titles early in their careers and weren't looked at as a "superstar loser"

warriorfan and warrior bandwaggoners avoiding this thread like the plague

This is what Stephen A. Smith has been saying.

Durant is b1tchmade.

Durant's chances of ever leapfrogging Kobe all-time are pretty close to done after this move, especially if this continues to be the help Durant has for the rest of his relevant years.

If we just hypothetically gave Durant 5 rings right now and said GSW is about to become a dynasty (ultimate best-case scenario for him), his importance to every single one of those chips would still be questioned forever. History will look back on Steph Curry very favorably. Durant? No. Just no.

Yeah, 'cause going to play with Loul Deng as your 2nd best player is totally comparable to what Durant did and what LeBron did before...

I don't have a problem with KD leaving OKC. ITS about the method in which he left. We are talking an MVP, peak wise top 5 SF ever, and his team having GS down 3-1. When u are on the cusp of epic things WITH A TEAM BUILT around u, u gotta see that shit through. If u are gonna leave, DON'T go to the rival who spoiled your season.

It's not about forming superteams, its about the way there are built. If for some dumb reason KD got traded to GS, they I can't blame him. But u would think alpha dog thinking and competitive nature would PREVENT him from joining GSW.

Imagine Jordan leaving Chicago to go to the Pistons. When it was clear the Bulls would be the team of the future eventually. But EVEN IF MJ left, he wouldn't go to the Pistons!! If OKC was a middle of the pack or non playoff team, then I wouldn't blame KD for going to GSW. But u were on the ONLY TEAM in the West really capable of beating them in a series... This is the most controversial superstar FA sigining ever in American sports.

Bro, no matter how much you try, lebron will always be a coward in our eyes. I wont respect durant if he wins but i will give him mad respect if he forces nba to file bankruptcy or reform. Coz i dont want to see my favorite sport becoming wwe. Its so cheap. Im ashamed to be a fan of this shit

These lebron fangays are so hypocrites. They rank lebron top 3 while forming big 3 after big 3 but durant has no chance whatsoever coz of what he did. Lol

Much worse only because Kobe is a Laker lifer.

Joining Boston would be like stabbing LA fans with an ice pick.

In the end, after that draymond suspension, its not anymore about steph vs durant but more about lebron+nba vs everyone. Just like most fans quit after that obvious rigjob, durant quits giving a fcuk about legacy and just wants to see this league burns. Its about sending a message that theyre tired of this rigging shit and is willing to sacrifice career just to destroy this league.
