Trade vs. FREE Agency. Simple as that.

This again?

The league owned the Hornets so they could stop the trade. The league doesnt own Durant or the Warriors.

LeBron bout to get his 4th ring or KD's about to get his 1st.

Either way, Fudge wins. That's all that matters, son.

The NBA owned the Pelicans at that time...The value they got for CP3 form the Clippers was way more than the Laker trade.

Well the NBA owned the NO Hornets at the time. They could veto the trade.

But the owners tried to prevent this and it's the worse its ever been. Bloated contracts, the end of a small market in OKC, and the destruction of any parity in the NBA, I can see a possible lockout in the future.

Basketball reasons.

Meltdown reasons.
