Technically speaking Kevin Durant has played for two different teams. Loyalty to one team your entire career doesn't mean jack when you already swapped uniforms for a different team at least once.

If KD really cares about winning a ring at the end of the day, go play for the team that gives you the best chance of winning a title. Thunder got worse defensively with the loss of Serge Ibaka and even less shots to go around with the addition of turnover machine Oladipo. The Warriors will give him the best option to win as many rings as possible.

He's loyal to OKC... plain and simple. His second home. He won't leave, and getting rid of Ibaka for a better player AND a promising big man is ridiculously good management by Presti.

They don't get worse defensively without Ibaka... and with the addition of Oladipo they get much better offensively and defensively on the perimeter. Victor is another great athlete who can create shots and take pressure off Durant/Westbrook. Ibaka was literally a spot-up shooter, and mostly worthless on offense. Ibaka was a good shot-blocker, but a poor defender overall. Extremely overrated player.

Durant/Westbrook/Dipo is gonna be the best trio in basketball next year. OKC will win the championship and Durant will stay forever
