The thing the general NBA fan doesn't understand is economics. Mitch got his MBA from UCLA. He understands investments, salary cap, and assets. They are putting themselves in positions to succeed. He is building the team to make it attractive for a high profile FA while developing a young roster. That is the state of the Lakers. It's incremental steps, but they are all steps forward. They are not stagnant and regressing, or have caps issues. They are not experimenting with schmucks like Derrick Rose. They are not handing out 100+ million contracts unless your a all-NBA player. Keep it 100, but people like to hate on the Lakers cuz we got 16 banners and they don't.
