Don't see him leaving. Where would he go? He doesn't need to ring chase. He has 3 already. Miami is a good spot for him.

Open to negotiate =/= leaving. Having more teams interested and having more negotiations = leverage = more money. The chance of Wade actually signing somewhere else = 0%. It's not that complicated.

Wade can be 6th man of the year somewhere and hes still an excellent closer and probably a top 5 guard when motivated to stay in shape.

only two teams stand a chance and its very slim.
Chicago and Cleveland
Chicago not so much because they seem destined to re-tool...adding wade will give them a veteran presence but still prolly a first round out in the playoffs
Cleveland is self explanatory

It would be interesting to see him on another team because he has spent his whole career in Miami.

0% for going to Chicago.
0.0001% Cleveland. Wade would never take the minimum. Cleveland has no money at all. They can re-sign J.R., and vet min ring chasers.

I was surprised that Wade has never been the highest play on his team at any point of his career.

I hope he leaves. He will command max salary when he isn't worth more than $6m/year in today's NBA. Miami should focus on keeping Whiteside and let Wade walk and replace him a younger, healthier wing player with better shooting stroke.

that formula definitely doesn't work with Wade - Miami is the only team that will pay him to any close to what he wants. no contender will give him the $20+ mil he's looking for, and Wade going to a non-contender is out of the question IMO.
I think him indicating he's open to other team negotiations actually hurts him, as he'll be lowballed and give Riley more reason to pay less since his market worth isn't as what he's hoping it to be.
the right thing to do was wait out the Whiteside/KD scenario because for one Miami has Wade's bird rights to sign him in the end so he will get paid, and secondly, Wade looking to leave doesn't portray the right images for guys like Whiteside, and KD mostly in trying to lure them to sign with Miami

Wade is a tease
Via Pro Basketball Talk:
Over the last 24, 72 hours, Dwyane's representatives have been calling around the league to several teams. Not to every team, not to 29 teams, but to a few teams and have said to them, "Hey, Dwyane is going to be available and is going to take offers."
I know San Antonio is one of the teams that's been contacted. I know Dallas is one of the teams that's been contacted.

Both teams he's faced in the finals, both 1-1 in the finals as well.
