View Full Version : Genuine question: what does it feel like as a fan to lose a title on your home court?

I've been to some pretty terrible games (Fisher .4, Dirk And-1, Marbury GW half-court 3, etc.), but I can't imagine going to a game where you watch the other team celebrate on your home court and have the trophy presentation, etc.

Anyone ever experienced it...and did you stay for the ceremony?

Most probably won't even realize the game is over because they are too busy updating their FB, IG, Twitter and whatnot.

Game 4 in '02. I stayed because it's a rare thing to see happen in person but I don't think the same element of heartbreak was in play for that one, it was the most predictable outcome ever.
