The hardest thing to do in NBA is repeat as we just saw. The biggest sign of dominance (for All-Time Greats) in the NBA is a repeat and a defense of your title in my opinion.
MJ: 4
Kobe: 3
Shaq: 2
LeBron: 1
Hakeem: 1
Magic: 1
Kareem: 1
Isiah Thomas: 1
Duncan: 0
Curry: 0
Wilt: 0
Oscar: 0
West: 0
KG: 0
Dirk: 0
To me this has to be a factor in all time player rankings. Since by definition repeating constitutes a dynasty and dominance over peers. Let's be real, a repeat is harder to do than winning an MVP award.
