that sos boost from beating the Warriors holy crap :lol . I think the next highest win total for a Finals loser were the Jazz and Sonics but obviously both were underdogs and 64 wins and a 7.4 or 7.9 srs is a lot worse than a 73 win 10.4srs team even if you think the Warriors are really overrated.

I think it was a guy named Carbine who said the '07 Spurs, '08 Celtics, '10 Lakers, '05 Spurs, were all better than this years Warriors lol.. talk about an overreaction of irrationality. One minute away from re-peating in a 73-win season.

They were great. But they dont belong on the top tier plateau anymore... that chance is gone for this year.

Wow, I can't believe that this is the first time a team with over 64 wins lost in the NBA Finals. Crazy. Figured the old C's must have done something like that, wow.

From another thread:

I may be missing a Finals somewhere, but the 57 win Cavs defeating the 73 win Warriors might qualify as numerically the greatest Finals upset in NBA history when considering win differential. They were separated by 16 wins. The next closest I can think of is the 1975 Finals where the 48 win Warriors defeated the 60 win Bullets. That was 12 games.
