If he does then he will confirmed he is not a true superstar like the four guys below who experienced crushing defeats and had the mental toughness to bounce back and lead their team to a title.

Bird lost the 83 ECF and came back to lead his team to the title in 1984

Magic lost the 86 WCF and came back to lead his team to title in 1987

Isiah lost the 87 ECF and came back to lead his team to the 88 Finals

MJ lost the 90 Finals and came back to lead his team to the title in 1991

So this is what real stars do, accept defeat and get stronger mentally and come back the next season and win it.

KD will look like a JOKE if he leaves and a fake star

Lebron Lost in the Finals first year in Miami. Then went on to two-peat. I think KD will stay.

Lebron lost in EFC in 2009 then formed the trio superstars in Miami to win his rings

Doesn't mean anything since he had already left the cavs after failure

He needs to stay with the OKC Thunder. Durant have a much better supporting casts than 2009-2010 LeBron James

Westbrook, Ibaka, Adams > Mo Williams, Antawn Jamison, and 38 yrs.old Shaq.

Durant will have choices. I don't really know the dynamics between him and Westbrook, but if they can get along then that's an amazing duo. And, the way Steven Adams has been playing in the playoffs makes him a really strong complement and he's only 22 years old? Wow and look out!

With the way this generations superstars leave, it would not surprise me. But does Durant really have a better opportunity from someone with cap space? I don't see any.
