If by some miracle he leads his team to 16-0, while hoisting a FMVP trophy. Curry's whole season and MVP will be shadowed historically by Lebron's playoffs at overcoming the greatest odds.

In addition, Curry will be looked at forever as the one who fell short with the greatest roster ever assembled

This isn't really a debate, I just want to see some thoughts

The truth is, the Warriors are massive favorites to win the title. Curry's MVP season and championship LAST YEAR was over-shadowed by LeBron's all-time great finals performance where he amassed 4 fmvp votes on the losing team, whereas Curry received ZERO on the winning one. But if LeBron actually pulled off the impossible and beat the Warriors this go-around? That would just devastate Curry's entire career. We'd never really take him seriously as the leagues best player - (not that we ever did :lol )

If the Cavs somehow sweep GS, 16-0 is FAR more impressive than 73-9. But almost the entirely of that would be based on that last 4-0. 12-0 against the East isn't nothing, but those 3 series combined aren't half as difficult as the finals will be for them.
