PRIME Chamberlain?

Many.

There were no HOF-laden teams in that decade...like a prime Chamberlain faced every year in his career.

I have said it before, but a prime Wilt, with Magic for 10 seasons...and 10 titles.

Sure, Wilt would have top overcome a choking Lebron in those eight seasons...but let's face reality...who in that time frame, including Shaq...would stop a PRIME Chamberlain? We already know that it took entire HOF stacked rosters to beat a prime Chamberlain. No way ordinary rosters with just 2-3 HOFers are going to stop him.

0.

The guy is 18th all time in playoff scoring for a reason. When the stakes are high, he chokes.

22 ppg in playoffs and 18 ppg in finals.

Lebron in his 6 "must win" Finals games...

29.5 ppg on...get this... a .436 FG%

Give him his clinching 2012 Finals game...

29.0 ppg...on a .440 FG%

Chamberlain in his five "must win" Finals games...

27.4 ppg on a .621 FG%...along with 25.4 rpg.

Add in his two clinching wins...

26.8 ppg on...get this... a .631 FG% (and 25.6 rpg.)

BTW, how about Wilt's opposing starting HOF centers in those seven games...

a cumulative average of... 12.3 ppg, 14.4 rpg, and on a .444 FG%.

Speaking of "must win" playoff games...

Your boy Lebron ekes out Wilt at 31.8 ppg to 31.1 ppg (MJ is 2nd at 31.3)...BUT, Chamberlain averaged 26.4 rpg, and shot .540 from the floor in those 23 games.

Wilt = GOAT.

Mr Feeny

Make no mistake about it, when you get to the finals, Wilt will get you 18 ppg.
He won 1 of his only 2 titles averaging 12 points.
the guy is a bona-fide scrub :lebronamazed:

Don't insult a 26 ppg finals scorer in lebron by putting this scrub with him:lol

He won his two Finals with 18 and 19 ppg. On .560 and .600 FG%'s. With 29 rpg and 23 rpg. And was the FMVP in both. And he never lost a FMVP to a bench-warmer, and with a 36 ppg Finals on a horrific .398 FG% (even Kobe would have been ashamed with that performance.)

Don't mix up choking shot-jacker like Lebron, who shot a Kobe-like .440 in his must win Finals games...with a Chamberlain who is the all-time must win Finals FG% leader at .631.

So, we have the GOAT (and GOAT prime) along with another GOAT level player/prime who had already led mediocre rosters up to the NBA Finals (as had Wilt, in '64, btw). LeBron would definitely not defer to Wilt anywhere near as much as Kobe differed to Shaq. I'll say 4-5 titles is realistic as long as they don't face injury trouble. 2004 and 2005, not enough depth and LeBron was still pretty immature, so, they'd probably be ECF material, but from 2006 and on, at least strong title contenders year in and year out. Even the 2007 Finals would have ended up completely differently, since Wilt's +/- would almost definitely cover the few extra points that the Cavs would need to win at least games 3 and 4. So, there would be at least a close battle and that's without taking into account that the Cavs with Wilt and LeBron could very well have home court advantage.

Have you never asked a question without giving your opinion to it as well? :biggums: You afraid of receiving backlash to it?

Wilt won as many as Lebron, my friend.

And let me ask you this...YOU tell ME what their TS% was.

BTW, Lebron had some poor FT shooting games in those must win games, as well.

And how about this... Wilt shot 1-11 from the FT line ...in a 13 point loss. Lebron shot 10-30 from the FIELD in a 1 point loss. Which player's performance had more impact?

Of course, only an idiot like yourself would be concerned about winning, when a player is averaging 27 ppg 26 rpg, and on a .631 FG% in those seven games...including one win with a 45-27 20-27 FG/FGA game.

Or, how about this...

Player A wins a ring with a 13 ppg, 4 rpg, 1 apg, .414 FG% seven game Finals...which included a game seven of 4 points, 3 rebounds, 2-7 FG/FGA, 2 assists, and 5 PFs.

Player B loses a game seven in the EDF's by one point, with a 40-40 roster, to a 62-18 team that would blow away the Lakers in the Finals, 4-1. And in that game seven, Player B scored 30 points, on 12-15 FG/FGA and yes 6-13 FT/FTA...for a TS% of .698...with 32 rebounds. For the series, Player B destroyed the opposing center in nearly every facet of the game (including FT% BTW)...with a 30 ppg, 31 rpg, .555 FG% series.

Now you tell me who the better player was in those two series.

GAC????

He and Lebron will be the answer to the trivia question years from now...which two MVPs playing in the same series, lost out in the FMVP to a bench-warmer?

BTW, Lebron averaged 36 ppg in a Finals in which that role player won the FMVP...while Chamberlain would have won a unanimous FMVP in the '67 Finals with an 18 ppg average, in a Finals in which Rick Barry averaged 41 ppg.

LeChoke...the blind Kobe in his Finals.

Curry? Probably won't ever play again. And it wasn't even his glass ankle, but rather a mildly bruised knee that did him in. Of course, his teammates have been cruising without him.

And the 3" inch LeChoke is nowhere to be found in the Record Book...including the POST SEASON.

They might as well have two NBA record books...the REAL record book...named Wilt, and then another for the rest of the players in NBA history.

Curry...get back to me when he puts up a 29-28 Finals, or a 39-23 playoff series, or a 45-27 must win Finals game, or must win playoff games of 50, 53, and 56.

LeChoke with Finals must win games of 10-21, 11-26, 10-30, and 13-33.
