but if lebron did that it would go something like "OMG lechoke passed. HAHA" or "Needs someone to bail him out". George passed up a last shot with like 2 seconds on the clock. If lebron would get crucified time to make fun of PG for it too. :oldlol:

That's because no one cares about George. Pacers are irrelevant.

Also, you are a big homo.

He passed up the last shot because he lost his dribble and was out of rhythm. It was the right play, he just couldn't get rid of it fast enough. Tough luck.

His team mate still hit the open three which means it was the right play. Just not fast enough.

Do you really think Paul George should be in the same Lebron plateau?

Do people still really obsess about "who" takes the last shot? I thought that was the sort of thing that was a really big deal 15 years ago, less so 10 years ago, and now, with player/ball movement being the more desired offense, it's become more of a footnote than a headline.

LeBron has allowed Kyrie to work isolations in the last couple of minutes of games recently (mostly successfully) and there was no negative feedback on James at all from the national media. In fact, he's being praised for trusting the young guys in crucial situations.

This argument is for 2005, not 2016.

It would have been a great play, Solomon Hill just took his sweet time... Way too casual.

I disagree, I've seen so many threads on here dogging LeBron for passing up the last shot. But again this forum is full of trolls and LeBron haters so take it with a grain of salt...

Because it's beating a dead horse when it comes to LeBron. The man has been passing up big ball shots since high school.

When he passed up the game winner to Donyell Marshall in that Detroit series, we all knew the type guy LeBron was... he needs a finisher with a killer instinct on his team because he ain't it.

Thank you, apparently people don't actually watch the games, they just talk about them...:confusedshrug:

They also must not know PG takes a ton of last second shots, he sucks in the situation but that's not the point, lol...

I dont get this "passing up last shot" bashing crap... i blame Kobe (he always took those shots no matter what, looking cool & alpha bricking 80% of them), if you are not the best shooter in your team its NOT good to ignore those wideopen teammates, unless very necessary (no time perhaps, bad passing angle)... even if you are Kobe and wideopen you better ***ing pass if Reggie Miller is next to you & also open, why? He has a higher chance of making the shot, do you want to win or pad your ego?

They are making the correct plays, giving the ball to the guy who has the highest chance of making the shot in that situation (being wideopen shooting specialist for exaomple), i actually get pissed when players are selfish / dont trust their teammates in those situations.... if Lebron or Kobe or Jordan has the ball in their hands with some seconds to go and see a shooter being open like say... Klay Thompson... then they better ***ing pass...

i respect what you say considering you are easily a top 5 poster here. I do agree with passing the last shot because its the right play. I like when lebron does it. My problem with Paul George is he passed the shot up with 2.5 seconds on the clock. Thats just a bad play and shouldn't have counted despite if the shot was quicker or not. It wasn't a smart play. The whole issue on this board is that they have kobe-tard syndrome where passing the last shot is viewed as a "beta" move and shows cowardice which makes no sense to me. If PG does it now, why the double standard?

So OP admits PG and Bran are on the same level.

Interesting.

i don't actually. The media does however so we should at least put them on the same criticism level, shouldn't we?

So you admit that you didn't watch the game and you didn't see PG bobble the pass/dribble? He HAD to pass at that point and Joseph had come over to double team by that point because PG fumbled the play....This isn't that hard...The guy should've had 50 points if he had a competent offensive coach...
