Durant needs to be crucified for this game.

Spread the word

Every superstar is afforded 1 game like this in a 7 game series. This is largely irrelevant. Kobe used to have 3-6 games like this a series...

What a joke

What you can't fathom is that Kobe is still a bigger story than the playoffs right now.

One of the greatest regular season games of all time.

Not true at all.

If Lebron or Kobe had a game like this, half the threads on the forum would be on this topic, and people would still be talking about it 10 years from now.

Durant gets a pass because people don't consider him an all-time great.

No , Durant did break the Jordan's record ( most misses in a playoff game with 26 ) , not Kobe .

??

Kobe NEVER shot this bad with this much volume in a single Playoff game

you realise KD scored 21 points on 33 shots, missing 26 shots (KD with more shots missed than actual points :oldlol:), something no one had done since MJ went 9/35 against Miami in 97??

only player that had 3 or more games like this in a series by my memory is Lebron vs Boston in 2008...

game 1 2-18 shooting 10 TO
game 2 6-24 shooting 7 TO
game 3 5-16 shooting 2 TO
game 4 7-20 shooting 4 TO

combined 20-78 shooting (26%FG), 23 TO

or Lebron vs Spurs the previous year

game 1 4-16 shooting 6 TO
game 2 9-21 shooting 6 TO
game 3 9-23 shooting 5 TO
game 4 10-30 shooting 6 TO

combined 32-90 shooting (36%FG) 23 TO

can't find anything like this for Kobe, where he shot that badly and turned the ball over at a very high rate at the same time, you can say 2000 Finals but he got injured game 2 and shot badly in only 2 out of the 4 full games he played that series and both those games were after a serious ankle injury, after he played the OT game where Shaq fouled out

even in the Pistons series he never shot below 30% in a single game, and when he shot horribly he didn't turn the ball over more than 3-4 times..

post-Shaq, Kobe doesn't have a single PO series where he shot below 40% from the field.

Selfless durant honoring kobe

However, durant didn't have the teammates, refs, and coaching to get the win.

So basically, Durant is a 46% playoff shooter and therefore is a better playoff shooter than Kobrick :lebronamazed:
Good to know.:lol
