If the playoffs were seeded regardless of conference... same tie breaker rules apply. 1st seed plays the 16th seed etc... 1st round matchups would be:

1. Golden State
16. Memphis

2. San Antonio
15. Chicago

3. Cleveland
14. Dallas

4. Toronto
13. Portland

5. Oklahoma City
12. Detroit

6. LA Clippers
11. Indiana

7. Miami
10. Charlotte

8. Atlanta

Ironically a few of the matchups remain the same.

Nice thread, but some teams would immediately lose hope in the first round like GSW-WAS, OKC-DET, LAC-IND. The rest are pretty even matchups.
