View Full Version : Kobes career could have been even more legendary if it wasnt for Stern

Greatest back court of all time in CP3/Kobe

We forget how legendary CP actually is. He turned an absolute laughing stock of a franchise into a Western powerhouse. Imagine what he could have done with Kobe :facepalm

Sad how Stern wanted Lebrons road to be easy. Hell Lebron even said it himself "its gon b eazy". Because he knew he had Stern in his back pocket. I mean really who was REALLY IN THE WAY for Kobe to make the finals? The Thunder, and Spurs matchups could have gone either way

Stern truly was the Bernie Sanders of our era :facepalm

If only he stayed with the Hornets, but Kobe wanted to play for the Lakers.

LOL the perennial second round exit Clips are hardly a Western powerhouse     CP3 hasn't accomplished shit in the league. The Clips are still a laughing stock.

I respect Kobe as a player, but I don't know man.. I would think Kobe and another elite PG may not be as successful as people would envision them to be.

Agreed
it sucks CP had to carry 2 of the worst franchises in the NBA even tho hes the GOAT of both franchises. KG unfortunately had to drag the worst franchise in sports:( :(

Fisher was the perfect guy to play next to Kobe.

A PG who passes to Kobe, and hits clutch shots when Kobe passes it to him.

Last time Kobe played with an all star point guard. His team was nearly swept by the Pistons.

Payton: This guy is a ball hog.

Payton averaged 21 ppg on 46 FG%, and 8.3 apg when he played for the Bucks/Sonics in 2003.

You're melting down, you little b*tch, because you know that LeBron will NEVER have a legendary performance like this in his 20th season (if he even makes it that far).

Kobe just throat-f*cked you and your entire family. They'll have to pump his jizz out of your stomach.

n

Lebron with more finals MVP than Kobe after this season. LeBron > Kobe. 3rd all time > 12th all time.

As a LeBron fan such as yourself, isn't going to the Finals and losing an accomplishment?

He's been a good to great Finals performer since the 2012 NBA Finals. Maybe you need to watch more games, and get a better pair of glasses.

Basketball is a team sports. Maybe you need to play the game before you understand it. Play basketball before you made some terrible opinions.

I actually think a healthy Cavs this year beat the Warriors in a best of 7 series.

Let's make a money bet.

His teammates under performed in 2014, and got injured in 2015.

Still, not my point. You flame Kobe for losing in the Finals with Payton but you revere LeBron for it?

Check my birthday in that account. No problem bro. I am just messing with your head.

I am practicing my trash-talking skills.

Comparing an old ass Gary Payton to prime CP3 shows your basketball iq

If Kobe couldnt win with old ass Gary Payton than Lebron should also be criticized for not winning with old ass Shaq

Yeah I wonder stylewise how that would have worked. Same thing with MJ and Lebron. Granted, Jordan was better off the ball than Kobe, who was better of the ball than Lebron, but stylewise they ideally did best with guys at the 1 spot who could shoot but weren't terrific playmakers. Kobe, Jordan, and Lebron were the playmakers.

CP3 can't get past the second round with one of the best front courts the league has seen in some time. A CP3 with old man Kobe is far from guaranteed greatness, especially with a depleted front court, just like Kobe with Dwight was a failure despite the assumed greatness when he was acquired.
