View Full Version : Just how incredible are OKC's supporting cast?

Ibaka - 0/2/0 - Let his opponent (Dieng) score 25+ and fouled out
Adams - 8/14 - Good game
Roberson - 2/4/0 - Injured at half
Kanter - 17/14 - Great game

Their "three-point specialists":

Morrow - 3/0/1 - 0/6 on threes
Singler - 3/2/1 - 1/6 on threes
Foye - 6/1/2 - 1/4 on threes

Literally the only two people outside of Durant and Westbrook who had passable games were Adams (still only 6 points) and Kanter.

Ibaka's play has plummeted the last two years. The dude is nothing but trash now. The Thunder have ZERO chance at winning 4 games against the Spurs or Warriors with absolutely no guaranteed points coming from role players.

Plus, losing to Wolves at home :lol

Morrow put up a dumb shot with 40 seconds, dude thought he was Durant for a moment taking a pullup. Dude, you are a catch and shoot guy.

The play was drawn up for him. They were trying to go for a two for one, but they messed up on the exchange. He just shot it anyway to keep the opportunity to have the last shot. I'm not mad at him for it.

To be honest, you can complain about these scrubs in the playoffs. I have no faith in any of them to perform.

But the Thunder have more than enough talent to win in the regular season.

And they have their front office to blame. For years they have been on the brink of being a contender, but they make absolutely no effort to bolster their bench. Aside from Morrow, Kanter and sometimes Foye, they have nobody serviceable -- and that's the way it's been. They seem to pick up nobody in free agency or ever make moves at the trade deadline. They do not have the talent to just "stand pat" and believe their success in the regular season will translate to anything more.

Kanter is literally the only guy serviceable outside of Durant and Westbrook. Problem is Donovan doesn't trust him enough on defense to leave him in the game even when he is beasting. Dude should have been out there at the end of the game last night, it's not like Ibaka was doing anything on defense anyway. His opponent had a career high.. AND Ibaka scored ZERO points.

What is with OKC hiring ****ing dumbasses for coaches? Why is Payne not getting minutes but Singler and Foye are? WTF?!

I don't blame the supporting cast I blame Durant and Westbrook for freezing everyone out all the time and then somehow expect them to play well after not touching the ball except for when KD or Russ gets stuck. I say this about everyone but Waiters. He's total trash.

Right, you clearly don't watch games then. There's a reason Foye, Singler and Morrow took a lot of open threes last night, and that's Durant and Westbrook's playmaking. It's not on Durant and Westbrook that they missed just about every single one.

I thought Singler was supposed to be one of the worst in the league....why do I keep seeing him on the court in crunch time?
or at all?

He's been playing pretty good lately he started off season horrible. But thunder don't have many two way players and he's decent at both.

They should also not be afraid to play Mitch McGary who iirc played well in last year in limited minutes.

And Singler should not even be on the team...half the time he looks scared to shoot the ball. I'd prefer a Sefolosha who's a below average shooter but actually looks poised to shoot rather than a scared Singler. It's like playing 5 on 4.
