Bird & Magic were a shell of their former selves doe.. Only Kidd (who ended up winning a championship as a starter 3 years later) was out of his prime on the redeem team.

Redeem beats 92 Dream Team in 6 imho.

If Dwight miraculously stays out of foul trouble, the redeem team has a good shot. But the size of the dream team is a big problem. Bosh guarding Malone? Really?

The 2008 teams is a less talented dumber version of the 1992 team. Hell the 1996 would kick their as!

The main problem is the front court. Kobe, Lebron, Wade, Melo, CP3, Kidd, are going to hold their own against MJ, Drexler, Pippen, Mullin, Stockton and an aging Magic and Bird. Howard, Bosh, Boozer however are way undersized against Ewing, Robinson, Malone and Barkley.

That matchup is literally boys vs men.

No way, absolutely no way that Redeem team with their sideline dancing and prancing beat out prime Dream Team who all came up during the 80s.

Lol at Carlos Boozer, but I guess Laettner is not much of a choice either.

Lets look at some of the secondary mathcups though.

Redeem team has Dwight and Bosh as big men, Dream Team have Ewing and D-Rob. That is murder.

Power forwards, Redeem team have Boozer and Marion against Barkley and Malone. Ouch, even worse massacre than at center.

Kidd and Cpaul is the only place the Redeem team can hang vs Stockton and old Magic.

Kobe worse than Jordan. Lebron worse than Jordan. Melo worse than Mullins.

The 92 team is really much better. No contest.

international rules would virtually nullify dream team's front court advantage with ability to paint camp AND double off the ball/hybrid manzone amorphous D. Barkely couldnt back Bosh down for half hour to score 70% on 2's the help would be like angry bees he would think there were 7 players on the redeem team.

that CP, Wade, BRAWN lineup would run rampant

Dream team has no answer for Redeem Team small lineup with Bosh at the 5 stretching the floor. Robinson, Malone, Ewing etc have no interest in going out to that three point line to defend
